The air is filled with holiday cheer, and there are festive decorations everywhere. This challenging year comes to an end, and it has taught us that one of the most important things in life is to be healthy. Regular exercises are the key for improving personal fitness and health. So, let’s make a New Year’s resolution together – to keep fit, and stay healthy all year long.
There are several different ways to keep the promise you made to yourself for the upcoming 2021 – take regular walks, jog, swim, or engage in some sports. But, since unfortunately, the pandemic is not over yet, you have to be careful, and select the best way to keep fit while being safe. If you choose to play golf, or any variant of it, you can turn the entire experience into a completely safe enjoyment. Golf can be played individually, thus providing you the opportunity to improve your well-being without being in contact with others. Besides being an individual sport, golf is also a team sport. And are there any better team players than family members?
If you have a big garden, or a park nearby, then you can enjoy traditional golf whenever you have some free time. Enjoy the fresh air, and watch your body becoming stronger and stronger each day. Swing, hit, and follow the white tiny ball as it flies over the astonishing green area.
Of course, there are some fun alternatives for those of you who cannot play golf outside – your home can be converted into a pretty good golf course. It is a fact that you will not be able to play the standard 18-hole game at home, but can try out some of the fun golf games to satisfy your competitive desires.
If you are playing alone, then all you need is any kind of shelving, several plastic cups, plastic golf balls (they are light and you will not destroy anything at home), and a club. There are two different ways to play golf using these elements: you can place the cups on each shelf differently, and try to knock them down in as few swings as possible, or you can turn the open top of the cup towards you, and try to put the ball in the cup.
As it was mentioned above, you can play golf with your family members, too. Set the targets (you can use plastic cups for this fun golf game, as well) throughout the rooms, and use chairs, and tables as obstacles. The winner is the one that will reach the target in as few strokes as possible.
